Obituary

FRANCIS O. "HONEYBOY" FRACE Francis O. "Honeyboy" Frace, 87, of Riegelsville, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 while surrounded by his loving family in Easton Hospital. BORN: October 15, 1925 in Lower Mt. Bethel, he was one of eight children born to the late Francis and Anna Frace. He and his wife, the former Geraldine Miller celebrated 38 years of marriage. He was predeceased by his first wife, the former Betty V. Grube, who passed away in 1973. PERSONAL: Honeyboy proudly served in the US Navy during WWII. He worked for the Riegel Paper Co. as a licensed Boiler Operator, retiring after 33 years. Earlier, he volunteered with the Riegelsville Emergency Squad. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, Polka dancing, watching football on television, especially the Eagles, and camping. He was an avid gardener, growing beautiful flowers and a large variety of vegetables in addition to tending fruit trees. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. MEMBERSHIPS: He was a member of F&AM Prosperity Lodge #567. SURVIVORS: Along with his beloved wife Gerry, he is survived by three daughters, Suzanne Frace Dotta and her husband Richard of Stroudsburg, Deborah Frace Saunders and husband William of Illinois and Sharon Frace Scott of Wilson Boro and her companion George Bonser; six grandchildren, Tiffany and Derek Gould, Eric Saunders and his wife Heather, Stephanie Saunders, Jessica Scott-Santo and her husband Jeremiah and Sydney Scott; three great grandchildren Brody and Mason Santo, and Jackson Saunders; four sisters, Evelyn Werner, Betty F. Stocker, Gloria "Dolly" Kachline and her husband Dale, Dawn Trimble and her husband Robert; sister-inlaw, Polly Frace. He was predeceased by sister Virginia Hahn, brothers Elwood "Dick" Frace and Edwin "Ceasar" Frace. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday, in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. Relatives and friends are invited to call 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, with Masonic Services at 7:30pm, and 11:00am-12:00 noon Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in the Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township.
