Frank J. Smith Jr., age 80, of Bushkill Township, passed away on Thursday morning, November 22, 2018 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Betty Fritz Smith; together they shared 60 years of marriage.

Born December 9, 1937 in Easton, he was the son of the late Frank J. Sr. and Helen Markley Smith.

Frank was a 1955 graduate of Nazareth High School. He proudly served his country with the U S Air Force during the Vietnam War, retiring after 20 years of active duty. Frank also worked for ITT for 20 years. He was an avid fisherman and a member of the Bethlehem Boat Club.

Along with his wife Betty, Frank is survived by 2 children; daughter Deborah Messinger and her husband Lee and son Jeffrey Smith, 5 grandchildren; Jason and his wife Stacy, Brittney, Morgan, Vanessa and Jeffrey and 5 great grandchildren.

Frank was predeceased by his sister Gwendolyn Kichline in 2010.
