Gary M. Anthony, 83, of Belfast, passed away on December 8, 2021 in Country Meadows, Bethlehem Township.  He was the loving husband of Doreen (Yeakel) Anthony; together they celebrated 59 years of marriage.

Born November 11, 1938 in Cherryville, he was a son of the late Mark and Margaret (Meckley) Anthony.

Gary was a graduate of Northampton High School, Class of 1956.  He later worked in the plastic industry for various corporations retiring as a supervisor from S & L Plastics after 48 years of service.

He was a hunter and loved being outdoors.  He also loved all types of wildlife and enjoyed feeding the birds, chipmunks and deer that wondered onto his property.  Through the years, Gary and his sons frequented car shows where they entered their restored, pearl white 1965 Plymouth.  He was a diehard Pittsburg Steelers and Oregon Ducks fan.

Gary was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Nazareth, the Lehigh County Historical Society and the Jacobsburg Historical Society.

Along with his wife Doreen, he is survived by his son; Bruce Anthony and his wife Susan and his twin brother; Glenn and his wife Shirley.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son Brian, brother Leonard and sisters Doris Brandt and Marjorie Nicholas.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing Monday December 13 from 6-8 PM and Tuesday December 14 from 10-11 AM in the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.  A Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM on Tuesday. Facial coverings are optional. Gary will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery, Nazareth.  Memorials in Gary's name may be sent to St. John's Lutheran Church, 200 South Broad St., Nazareth.
