Gary L. Hein, 60, of Easton passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 in Easton Hospital after being stricken at home. He was the husband of Cynthia Pritchard Hein with whom he celebrated 33 years of marriage. BORN: June 16, 1953 in Allentown, he was a son of the late Kenny and Betty Moll Hein. PERSONAL: Gary was a graduate of Catasauqua Area High School, class of 1971, in addition to Northampton Community College and Allentown College of Saint Francis de Sales, now DeSales University. He was an accountant for Forks Tax and Account Service. SURVIVORS: In addition to his beloved wife Cynthia, one son, Phillip Hein and his wife Becky; two grandsons, Raymond and Alexander; one brother Dale Hein and two sisters, Mrs. Dolores (Glenn) Swartzentruber and Judy Hein; three nephews, 7 nieces and four great nephews and four great nieces. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Thursday, at 11:00 am in the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 202 West St., Wind Gap. Relatives and friends are invited to call Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Wind Gap Cemetery.
