Geneveive K. Miller, 87, of Plainfield Township, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday morning February 16, 2014 in St Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus, with her family by her side. Born: April 24, 1926 in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude Southam Vandever. Personal: Prior to retirement, she worked as a seamstress at various textile mills in the Lehigh Valley. Memberships: She was a member of Easton Mennonite Church and UNITE, the ladies garment workers union. Survivors: Geneveive will be lovingly remembered by her three daughters; Maureen Hale, Susan Catino and husband Ernest and Sandra Pysher., 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren as well as three sisters Lavern Sickles, June Hassell and Elsie Litsch. She was predeceased by a son Lee Miller, a daughter Joyce Romig and a brother Charles Vandever. Services: Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am in Maranatha Family Christian Fellowship 450 Jacobsburg Road, Nazareth with Pastor Jim Snyder presiding. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10-11 am Friday in the church. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St Nazareth.
