George T. Kemmerer, Sr., 64, formerly of Saylorsburg, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016, at the home of his sister in Bethlehem.

Born April 28, 1952, in Easton, he was a son of the late Donald R. Kemmerer, Sr. and the late Anne M. Knecht Kemmerer.

George is survived by three sons, Donald Lee, Kevin Keith and his fiancée Sacha Wentzell, and George T., Jr., and a daughter Kelli Buchanan. Also surviving is a sister, Cindy Kemmerer; 5 grandchildren; 2 nieces and 2 nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an infant son Kristian; his companion of many years, Patricia Lane; and his brother, Donald R. Kemmerer, Jr.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on January 6th from 6pm-7pm in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 202 West St., Wind Gap, PA, 18091, where a memorial service will begin at 7pm with Pastor Kimberly Lara officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
