Glendora P. McGinnis, 53, of Bath, passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning, August 21, 2016. Born July 19, 1963, in Wilson Borough, she was a daughter of Glendora Wenninger of Pen Argyl, and the late Walter T. "Spin" Young.

Glennie graduated from Wilson High School with the Class of 1981. She attended Northampton Community College, and for the past five years has worked as an Engineer for CenturyLink. She was a devoted and loving mother of "Mikey" who she raised to be a kind, strong young man she was so very proud of. Glennie always had an open ear and sound advice for her nieces and nephews, who she truly loved. One more thing that made Glennie so very special, and all who knew her can attest to the fact that she had a wit and sense of humor second to none. She was the best daughter and sister who left us far too soon. We will miss her forever. Her sister Missy would like to request that we all honor Glennie's loving and giving nature by performing a random act of kindness.

In addition to her mother, Glennie is survived by her son, Michael P. McGinnis of Bath. Also surviving is her brother, Thomas Young and his wife Penny, two sisters, Rebecca Werner and Melissa Ehrhardt and her husband Lynn, and her companion, James Ryan.   In addition to her father, she was also predeceased by her step-father, William J. Wenninger.

Family and friends are invited to call from 6 - 8 pm on Friday, August 26, at the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere Street, Nazareth, PA, 18064, where funeral services will begin at 8 pm. Burial will private at the convenience of the family.
