Wind Gap

Obituary

Glenn Robert Redshaw, of Wind Gap, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 11, 2026, after a battle with cancer. He was 77 years old.

Born on October 2, 1949, in Plaineville, New Jersey, Glenn lived a full life that he filled right up to the brim. He never was one to sit still. If you knew Glenn, you knew he was always going a hundred miles per hour, and he wouldn't have had it any other way.

Glenn proudly served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1975. After his service, he found his calling behind the wheel, driving tractor trailer for over 35 years. The open road suited him, and he spent decades doing work he was good at.

But if there was one thing Glenn loved talking about, it was cars. He was a dedicated collector of classic cars, forever buying and selling, tinkering and dreaming. The crown jewel of his collection was his 1962 Corvette, a beauty he was always happy to tell you about, whether you asked or not.

Anyone who knew Glenn knew he was stubborn as a mule. But underneath all that stubbornness beat one of the kindest, most caring hearts you'd ever find. He was always cracking jokes, always ready with a laugh, and almost always steering the conversation back around to cars. Every morning you could find him at the same diner, sharing breakfast and plenty of stories with his close group of friends. Those mornings meant the world to him.

Glenn is survived by his son, Robert Aaron Redshaw, who carries forward his father's spirit and his love of a life lived at full throttle.

We will miss the joy he brought to all of us. His smile and his humor will be greatly missed, and the quiet he leaves behind will remind us just how big a presence he truly was. May he rest in peace, finally free to take the scenic route.

Service details will be announced at a later date.

Those who loved Glenn are invited to honor his memory by sharing a joke, a good story, or a cup of coffee in his name.
