Glenn H. Smith, Sr., 82, of Nazareth, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem. He was the husband of Marcella M. (Troxell) Smith. Born September 18, 1932 in Allentown, PA, he was a son of the late Stanley O. and Pearl S. (Lewis) Smith. Glenn was a member of the U.S. Army and honorably served his country during the Korean Conflict. He was employed at Mack Trucks on the Assembly Line. Following his retirement, he also worked for Wal-Mart. He was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nazareth. Along with his beloved wife Marcella, Glenn is survived by his son, Glenn H. Smith, Jr. of Florida, two stepdaughters, Lugene Keller and her husband Ronald, and JoAnn Dornblaser and her husband David, both of Nazareth; a brother, Stanley Smith of Florida, and a sister Blanche of Texas. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C., 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Glenn's name may be offered to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 S. Broad St., Nazareth, PA 18064.
