Gloria M. Getz, 94, formerly of Nazareth, passed away Monday, September 19, at Scenic View Personal Care Home, Palmerton. Born September 15, 1928, in Harlem, NY, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Antoinette Constantino Iannarelli. She was the beloved wife of Franklin Getz with whom she shared 56 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2004.

Gloria was employed at Gilda Blouse Company for many years until her retirement. She also worked for Dunkin Donuts in Nazareth. She was a wonderful mother who will be remembered for providing a loving home and delicious Italian meals.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Nazareth.

Gloria is survived by sons, Joseph and his wife Debra and Michael and his wife Janet; a sister, Theresa Heyer; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Jacqueline Ciccarelli.

Relative and friends are invited to a viewing, Friday, September 23 from 10-11am, with a funeral service beginning at 11, in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery will take place at a later date.
