Obituary

Gloria S. Lewis, born May 8th, 1947, in Phillipsburg, NJ, entered her eternal rest on September 2, 2025; leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and kindness. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and woman of steadfast faith.

She was a daughter to Robert and Madeline Savacool. Gloria is survived by her brother, Ward Savacool; her beloved husband, Robert Lewis, with whom she shared a lifetime of devotion and companionship; her daughter, Dana Nyce (husband Jonathan Nyce), and her cherished grandchildren, Mason and Collin, who will forever treasure the lessons she imparted, the stories she shared, and the boundless love she poured into their lives.

Gloria's faith was the foundation of her life. She was deeply devoted to her walk with Christ and found joy and comfort in prayer, scripture, and the fellowship of her church community. She lived out her faith daily through acts of service, compassion, and generosity — quietly embodying the grace and kindness she believed in. To her family and friends, she was a living example of patience, gentleness, and unconditional love.

Those who knew Gloria will remember her for her selflessness, her joyful spirit, and her deep commitment to God and family. Whether through her quiet words of encouragement, her gentle smile, or her faithful prayers, she made a difference in countless lives.

A memorial service celebrating Gloria's life and faith will be held on September 12th at 1:00pm, with a visitation from 12-1:00pm, at Schmidt Funeral Home located at 407 Belvidere St Nazareth PA. Family and friends are invited to gather, to share memories, and to honor the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Allentown Rescue Mission; www.allentownrescuemission.org

Though she will be deeply missed, Gloria's spirit and the light of her faith will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved her.
