Grace J. Snoddy, 86, formerly of Plainfield Township, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024, at St. Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem. Born October 1, 1937, in Delaware Water Gap, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Lillian Bush Hoagland. Her husband Donald Snoddy passed away in 1972.

In recent times, Grace resided at Chandler Estates in Pen Argyl. There she enjoyed time socializing with her special group of friends and participating in various activities. She liked to play dominoes and could be found "first in line" at the door to play Bingo. To her family, Grace, known as Grammy and GG Ma, was a loving mother and grandmother.

She leaves behind sons; Kevin Snoddy and his wife Debra West of Kihei, HI, Randall Snoddy and his wife Michele of Elkton, FL and Jodi Snoddy and his wife Heather of Chocowinity, NC; grandchildren Emberlynn Snoddy, Brooke Smith and Scott Snoddy; great-grandchildren, Sadie Smith and Carter Smith; and a brother, Ralph Hoagland and wife Joyce of Wind Gap.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by sisters, Nancy Hoagland, Shirley Lockard and brother, Robert Hoagland.

A viewing will be held on Friday evening, January 12, from 6-8pm and Saturday morning, January 13, from 10-11am at the Schmidt Funeral Home, 202 West St., Wind Gap. The funeral service will begin Saturday, at 11am, in the funeral home with burial to follow in Wind Gap Cemetery.
