Grace I. Weidman, 90, of Ackermanville, died Sunday, July 28, 2013 in Gracedale Nursing Home. BORN: Born October 25, 1922 at home on J.F. Heaney Estates, Plainfield Township, PA, she was a daughter of the late Paul Wagner and Emma Rebecca Heaney Wagner. She was married to George O. Weidman for 52 years at the time of his death. PERSONAL: She was a retiree of Baker Chemical Co., Easton, PA. Grace guided the ladies bowling association for 15 years and served as an officer in many leagues. She was inducted into the Slate Belt Women's Bowling Association Hall of Fame on February 28, 1999. She was a humble and witty friend to all. SURVIVORS: Grace is survived by her stepson, Roger Weidman and his wife Dian Shook Weidman of West Virginia; two grandchildren, Todd Weidman and his wife Renee Bysee of Mt. Airy, Maryland, and Kim Weidman and her husband Danny Wells of Brunswick, Maryland; five great-grandchildren; a half-sister, Shirley Albert Ealey; and nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her husband and two sisters. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Schmidt Funeral Home P.C., 202 West St., Wind Gap. Relatives and friends are invited to call 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Wind Gap Cemetery.
