Gwendolyn M. Shober, 58, of Moore Township, formerly of Lititz, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Palmerton Hospital.  Born September 22, 1958, in East Stroudsburg, she was a daughter of Kermit and Emily Bush Kessler of Plainfield Township.  She was the beloved wife of Jack Shober.

Gwen grew up in Plainfield Township, graduating from Pen Argyl High School in 1976.  During her career as a pre-school teacher, Gwen touched the lives of many children and their parents, many remaining close friends throughout their lives.

In addition to her husband Jack and her parents, Gwen is survived by two sons, Robert Berhel III and Jeffrey Berhel; one brother, Rodney Kessler and his wife LuAnn; one sister, Vickey Lipyanic and her husband Michael; and grandchildren, Ciara and Robert Berhel IV, and Olivia Berhel.

Family will receive relatives and friends, Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 10-11AM at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1422 Church Rd., Pen Argyl, PA 18072.  Services will follow at 11AM in the church.  Private burial will be held at Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown, PA at the convenience of the family.
