"Turtle" Frace

Harold B. "Turtle" Frace, 78, of Tatamy went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 20, 2020, while at home under hospice care and surrounded by his beloved family.
Harold was a loyal employee and supervisor at various dye houses in PA and NJ, devoting over 44 years to the textile industry before retiring in 2003.
Born June 5, 1941, in Easton, PA, Harold was the son of the late Edward D. and Grace E. (Babp) Frace.
He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. Turtle lived his lifetime in Tatamy, supporting its Athletic Association, local Cub Scout Troops and Bushkill Valley Lions Club. Turtle loved fishing, gardening and the Yankees. He was the #1 fan of his (grand)children at their community and school activities!
As high school sweethearts, he and his wife, the former Carol L. Lichner, observed their 56th wedding anniversary last August 17th.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by their children, Sherri Meyers (Bob) of Wind Gap, Kevin Frace (Monica) of Henderson, NV, and Timothy Frace (Amy) of Hellertown; three brothers, Richard (Janet) of Tatamy, Donald (Sandra) of Neola, Edward (Helen) of Elkland and one sister, Barbara McEntire (Larry) of Tatamy; six grandchildren, Kellie Woodring (Jeremiah), Lindsay Gocek (Andrew), Jared, Sebastian, Ally, and Lucas Frace; and one great-granddaughter, Emersyn Woodring. He was predeceased by a brother, Bruce (Barbara).
Services will be held Saturday, January 25th at 11 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, Tatamy. Calling hours are 9:30-11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Arrangements are by the Schmidt Funeral Home, Nazareth.
