Obituary

Harold W. Zellner, 77, of Bethlehem, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Plebani) Zellner with whom he celebrated 48 years of marriage.

Born on December 24, 1942, in Northampton, he was a son of the late Harold A. and Miriam (Gougher) Zellner.

Harold honorably served in the US Navy, and later in the NJ National Guard. Before retiring he worked as a diesel mechanic for Penn Dot.

Harold was a member of the AFSCME Union, Labor and Military Affairs Council, and the Phillipsburg Lodge #52 F & AM. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Tatamy.

Along with his wife Linda, Harold is survived by stepson, Brian Plebani and his wife Tiffany; step grandson, Shaeden Plebani; and sister, Scarlett Werner and her husband Edward. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Mark Zellner in 2012.

A public military graveside service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 at 11 a.m. in Forks Cemetery, Sullivan Trail, Stockertown, with Rev. Herbert Dolich presiding. Face masks and social distancing will be required at the cemetery. Due to COVID-19 restrictions viewing hours will be private. Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.
