Harry R. Itterly, 57, of Plainfield Township, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, September 20, 2014 at his residence. BORN: He was born on November 17, 1956 in Easton, a son of Irene Rupell Itterly and the late Ralph M. Itterly. PERSONAL: Earlier in life, Harry worked at Knitter's Chicken Farm. He lived most of his life in Plainfield Township, with the exception of eleven years, when he lived in Hope Spring, Walnutport. He returned to live in Plainfield Township four years ago. Harry enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. SURVIVORS: Along with his mother, Harry is survived by three sisters, Diane Anders of Kona, HI, Susan Gerdes and her husband Lynol of Miami, FL, and Donna Schrader of Wind Gap; two brothers, Duane Itterly of Palmerton, and John Itterly and his wife Jamie of Pen Argyl; nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. Along with his father, Harry was predeceased by his sister, Sandra Dietrick. SERVICES: Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, September 25 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1422 Church Road, Plainfield Township. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the church, with Rev. C. Frank Terhune officiating. Burial will be in Plainfield Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C. 202 West St., Wind Gap.
