Henry T. Kraemer, 78, of Bethlehem, formerly of Nazareth, passed away Monday, April 8, 2013, in the Phoebe Richland Health Care Center. He was the husband of Allene Solt Kraemer. Together they celebrated 57 years of marriage this past November. BORN: He was born June 17, 1934, in Nazareth; a son of the late Henry and Elizabeth Wilson Kraemer. PERSONAL: Henry was a self-employed electrician. In 1969 he founded the Henry T. Kraemer Electrical Contractor company which he owned and operated for more than 40 years. He was a graduate of Nazareth High School, class of 1952, and honorably served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. MEMBERSHIPS: He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Nazareth, the West Easton Fire Co. Rotary and Kiwanis. He also served on the Nazareth Borough Council. SURVIVORS: Along with his wife Allene, Henry is survived by three sons, Thomas D. and his daughter Emilie, Robert K. and his fiancé Lori Diehl and Douglas G. and his wife Connie and their son Douglas Jr; one daughter, Gretchen A. Kraemer-Rosati and her husband Jason Rosati, and their children, Marissa Kraemer, Louis Rosati, Jodie Rosati and Katie Rosati; and one great-grandson, Brayden Finney. In addition, five brothers: Steven, William, Frederick, Richard and Carl; and sisters Harriett Mack and Constance Grover. He was predeceased by one sister, Caroline Kelly. SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 11 am in St. John's United Church of Christ, 183 South Broad St., Nazareth, with the Reverend Curtis Kemmerer presiding. Relatives and friends are invited to call 10-11 am Friday in church. Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home P.C., 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.
