Henry J. Moormann, 87, of Saylorsburg PA, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospice in Bethlehem, PA.

He was the loving husband of Mary Regina Moormann who passed away in 2000.

Born October 9, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late John and Helen Remmer Moormann.

Henry was a proud veteran of the US Army. He retired after more than 20 years of service including a tour of duty in Vietnam. He later worked as a supervisor in the food service industry.

Henry is survived by his children: Linda Bachman and husband Charles of Williams Township, PA, Kathleen Ferraro, Patrick Grillo and wife Nathalie of Grasse, France, Carole McGraw and husband John of Saylorsburg, PA, Margaret Infante and husband Felix of Seaford, DE, eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren, sisters Johanna Canegliro, Helen Moormann and Mary Moormann, and sister in law Margaret Newton.

He was predeceased by his brother John Moormann.

Private services and burial will be under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, Wind Gap, PA.
