Irene A. Tenges, 94, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 in Gracedale. She was the loving wife of Robert F. Tenges who passed away on September 14, 2016.

Born on September 22, 1928 in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Edna (Moser) Rohn.

Irene attended Nazareth High School and later worked for Pioneer Sportswear.  She was a member of Forks United Church of Christ.

Irene is survived by her son Dennis Tenges and wife Dorene of Bethlehem; daughter Donna Steinmetz and husband Barry of Nazareth; grandchildren Tracey Slavin and husband Tom, Barrett Steinmetz and wife Danielle and Kyle Steinmetz and wife Heather; great grandchildren Seth Slavin and Parker Steinmetz.  She is also survived by her siblings Emma Sutter and husband Charles, Phyllis Milheim and husband Ernie, Paul Rohn and wife Doris, Warren Rohn and wife Eileen and Ralph Rohn and wife Anita.  Along with her parents and husband Bob, Irene is predeceased by sister Pearl Brown and brothers Earl Rohn Jr, and Clarence "Clem" Rohn.

Private graveside services will be held with the family.  There will be no calling hours.  Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.  Memorials, in Irene's name, may be sent to Forks UCC, 4500 Sullivan Trail, Stockertown, PA 18083.
