James J. (Jay) Geiter, 39, of Bethlehem passed away September 15, 2023 at Moravian King's Daughters Home.  Jay was the loving husband of Annette Schneck-Geiter; together they celebrated 2 years of marriage.  Born August 16,1984 in Fountain Hill, he was a son of Mathias (Mike) Geiter and Sandra Zellner Geiter of Bethlehem.

Jay was a graduate of Liberty High School and Northampton Community College. He was employed as a CNA for Gracedale and later Cedarbrook nursing home where he worked until the onset of his illness.  Jay was patient and kind, a quiet person with a huge and caring heart.  He was a wonderful husband, son, and father and loved spending time with his family and friends.  In his spare time he enjoyed rebuilding computers and was an avid gamer.  Jay's most recent budding hobby was riding his newly acquired E-Bike.

Along with his wife, Annette and parents, Mike and Sandy, Jay is survived by his daughter Katelyn Geiter and niece Alexis Kleedorfer who they always considered as their second daughter.  Brother Peter and his wife Amy and sons of Arizona; sister Samantha Doublet and husband John and daughters of Kutztown.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, September 22th from 10-11am at the Schmidt Funeral Home 407 Belvidere St. Nazareth where the funeral service will start at 11am.  Burial will follow at Forks Cemetery, Stockertown.  Memorial contributions, in honor of Jay, may be offered to the family in care of the funeral home.
