James C. 'Jim' Lynch, 81, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Alexandria Manor in Nazareth. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, October 6, 1942, he was the son to the late Clifford K. and Anne L. (Kane) Lynch.

Jim was a hardworking man who, after graduating from Phillipsburg High School in 1960, was employed for 50 years by Mack and Cadmus Printing in Easton, PA. During his free time, he enjoyed following sports. He was at one time a season ticket holder of the Philadelphia Eagles and was an avid fan of the Phillies. Jim also enjoyed attending Phillipsburg High School football games and wrestling events.

As part of a close family, Jim leaves behind his beloved Uncle Richard Lynch of Phillipsburg, NJ; cousins, Kathy Sieminski (Dave) and Dan Lynch (Terry) of Nazareth, Marcia Schmidt (Bob) of St. Petersburg, FL, Tom Kelso (Leslie) of New Brunswick, NJ and Sue McCormick (Doug) of Alexandria, VA.; as well as Don Rinker of Emmaus, PA. He also leaves behind his best friend of 60 years Herb Miller of Easton.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff of Alexandria Manor who provided him with care and love in his final days.

A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth, PA.
