James T. Riley, 72, of Nazareth, passed away on January 22, 2025 in Alexandria Manor, Nazareth. He was the beloved husband of Alisa Farrell Riley. Together they celebrated 40 years of marriage.
Born June 9, 1952 in Flushing, New York, he was the son of the late Leo and Mary Kondrup Riley.
James honorably served with the United States Army in Vietnam. He was employed as a maintenance supervisor for the US Postal Service first in New York and later at the Lehigh Valley location, retiring in 2015. He enjoyed collecting baseball cards, watching old westerns on TV, rooting for the Yankees and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Along with his wife Alisa, James is survived by his children; Melissa Leuthner, James Riley (Brittany), and Michael Riley (Kimberly); grandchildren Joseph, Thomas, Logan, Kadence, Abigail, Hannah, Liam, Elouise and Kataleya as well as his sister Theresa Horn (Rick), 1 niece Nicole and 2 nephews Jon Michael and Christopher. Along with his parents, James is predeceased by sister Elizabeth Riley.
Military services and burial at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 11:30 am.
