Jane Marie Allen, 81, of Easton, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Easton Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arthur K. Allen. BORN: Born on January 25, 1933, in Easton, Jane was the daughter of the late Lester and Lillie (Bray) Collins. PERSONAL: Jane graduated from Bangor High School and worked as a legal secretary for Atty Deech and Atty Toff in Easton. After retiring, she enjoyed being active in the Senior Circle and the URW. MEMBERSHIPS: Jane was a member of First United Methodist Church, Bangor. SURVIVORS: Jane is survived by a step-son, Richard P. Allen (Kathy) and a step-daughter, Mary Lou Bellis (Russell S.), both of Wilson Borough. Also surviving are two step-grandchildren; 5 step-great grandchildren; and cousins, Jeanne Murphy, Gwen Oaten, Ruthann West and Jack Bray. She was predeceased by a step-grandson, Bob W. Allen. SERVICES: Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 am on Saturday, January 24, 2015, in the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C., 407 Belvidere Street, Nazareth. A funeral service will follow at 11 am in the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Dean D. Frey presiding. Burial will be in Forks Cemetery, Easton, PA MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jane's name may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
