Jason L. Achenbach, 47, of Pen Argyl, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 31, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Oaks Campus.  Born April 28, 1975 in Fountain Hill, he was a son of Larry and Virginia (Pacovich) Achenbach.

Jason was a 1993 graduate of Pen Argyl High School.  He was presently working as a fabricator and installer at Premiere Granite in Pen Argyl.  Jason enjoyed football, golf, quoits and fishing. He especially enjoyed being a part of the Mountain Man Drag Racing Team, owned by his brother, where he was in charge of public relations and worked with the pit crew.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Along with his parents, Jason was survived by 1 brother Michael Achenbach of Nazareth; 1 sister Michel Cory and her husband Chad of Orefield and his girlfriend Lynn Renwick of Greenville.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, November 5, from 9:30-11:00 AM in the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 202 West St., Wind Gap where a Prayer service will begin at 11:00 AM.  Jason will be laid to rest in Plainfield Cemetery.
