Jean F. Applegate, 88, of Nazareth, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Gracedale. Born August 30, 1930 in Nazareth, she was the daughter of the late William E. and Florence Hoch Applegate.

Jean was a 1948 graduate of Nazareth High School. She worked in retail sales, retiring from Mitch's Market in Nazareth.

Jean is survived by her brother, Rodney W. Applegate and his wife Eileen of Nazareth.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family at Hope Cemetery in Hecktown.
