Jeanne P. Gyulai, 94 , formerly of Stockertown, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2025, in Waldon III Personal Care Home in Wind Gap. Born February 27, 1931 in Sandt's Eddy, she was a daughter of the late Victor H. Sr. and Madeline (Hunt) Thomas.
Jeanne was a graduate of Nazareth High School, Class of 1949. She was employed by the United Cement Work's Union Office, Mack Printing, the shipping department at DJ Cable, later Service Electric and the Nazareth Borough Municipal Authority prior to retirement.
She was a member of the local Red Hat Society, the 49's Club of Nazareth High School and participated in local card clubs. Jeanne enjoyed all crafts as well as watching NASCAR and baseball on television.
Jeanne was confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Nazareth.
She is survived by her loving family, son David A. Pritchard Jr. and his wife Connie; daughter Patti Jeanne Tanzos and her husband Mark; grandchildren Joshua Pritchard, Jesse Pritchard and his wife Amanda, Jarrett Pritchard, Tara Martin and her husband Kevin, Dillon Tanzos and his wife Annalyse and great grandchildren Kendra Pritchard, Laci Pritchard and Leonora Tanzos. Jeanne will also be remembered by her stepchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband David A. Pritchard Sr., second husband Andrew Gyulai Sr.; brother Victor Thomas Jr.; and sisters Doris Heckman, Isabelle McGough, Joan Johnson and Nancy Hillborn.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, March 7 from 10-11 am in the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth where the funeral service will begin at 11 am. Burial will follow at Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer Township. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jeanne's memory may be sent directly to Tunnels to Towers, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306 or St. Jude's Hospital, www.stjude.org Make a Wish Foundation www.wish.org
