Jody Lee Hendricks, 46, of Nazareth, loving husband, father, son and friend to all, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus in Easton. Jody had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of skin cancer this past April. He was the loving husband of Laura Schneebeli Hendricks with whom he celebrated 24 years of marriage this past October.

Born May 29, 1969, in Wilson Boro, PA, he was a son of Gene Hendricks of Kutztown and Doris Kulp Imboden of Easton.

Jody graduated from Wilson High School with the Class of 1987. Prior to his illness, he worked as a Supervisor for Borealis in Port Murry, NJ. He was passionate about horror and spent much of his free time going to horror conventions and creating his own costumes. He and his daughter operated Miss Megan's Little Pet Shop of Horrors, which designed zombie stuffed animals, and the proceeds from the sales were donated to various charities. Jody was also an avid Disney fan, and Mickey Mouse was always present somewhere in his designs.

In addition to his wife and parents, Jody was a loving father to his daughters, Megan and Miranda, both at home.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene Hendricks, Jr. and Trevor Hendricks.

Family and friends are invited to call from 6:00 – 7:30 pm on Wednesday evening, December 30, 2015, at the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere Street, Nazareth, PA. A Celebration of Life and time of remembrance will begin at 7:30 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
