John Seem Fenner, 77, of Bethlehem passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025.  Born in Easton on October 16, 1947, he was the son of the late Horatio and Hilda (Pritchard) Fenner.  He married his high school sweetheart Susan (Baboski) Fenner, and they celebrated their 57th anniversary in October.

John was a 1965 graduate of Pen Argyl High School.  After graduation he served for 3 years in the US Army.  He was an instructor on missile electronics at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama and was then assigned to Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, Alaska to work on Nike missiles.

After his service, John worked for Honeywell, and then for 26 years as an International Program Manager working on defense contracts for Lockheed Martin.  He worked with the Commonwealth Countries including the U.K. and Australia, where he traveled many times.  During his time at Lockheed Martin, he earned his bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

His career fueled his love for travel.  He was fortunate to have his wife accompany him on trips to England and Australia.  They celebrated their 30th anniversary with a trip to Budapest.

John was an avid outdoorsman.  His father introduced him to fly fishing as a young boy.  They fished at the Stretch in Blakeslee where he and his father were members for years.   He also loved to hunt and traveled several times on guided trips to Scotland and Canada.

In addition to his loving wife Susan, he is survived by; his daughter Melissa and her husband Joseph of Hellertown; granddaughter Emerson of Philadelphia; and sister Jaqueline Kerekes of Wind Gap.

A celebration of John's life will be held privately at a later time. Arrangements are entrusted to the Schmidt Funeral Home, PC in Nazareth.
