Joseph S. Mineo, 31, of Upper Nazareth Twp., passed away Friday, July 5, 2013 at his residence. Born: June 17, 1982 in Easton, he was a son of Richard and Nancy (Finkbeiner) Mineo with whom he resided. Personal: Joseph graduated from Nazareth Area High School in 2000. He earned his associate degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from Lincoln Technical School. He was employed by BMW Distribution Center and was an avid rider of BMX bikes. Memberships: He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Tatamy. Survivors: Along with his loving parents, Joseph is survived by two sisters, Cara Mineo, and Elyse Mineo of Nazareth; maternal grandmother Gloria L. Finkbeiner; aunts and uncles, Cindy Haldeman, Jackie Finkbeiner, Steven Finkbeiner, Gary Finkbeiner and his wife Debbie, and Greg Finkbeiner and his wife Connie; and five cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Mary and Isidore Mineo; and his maternal grandfather, Warren Curtis Finkbeiner. Services: Calling hours will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11 in the Schmidt Funeral Home P.C., 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth, followed by a Memorial service at 8:00 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
