Kathleen F. Kessler, 67, of Wind Gap, passed away unexpectedly on October 6, 2023 after being stricken at home. Born on April 12, 1956 in Bethlehem, Kathleen was a daughter of late William and Gladys (VanBuskirk) Kessler.

A graduate of Pen Argyl High School, Class of 1974, Kathleen later studied to become a surgical technician. After completing her training, Kathleen worked at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown for a majority of her career.

A faithful member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Plainfield Township, Kathleen was a part of the congregation for many years. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, reading, and keeping up on current events. Above all, Kathleen enjoyed spending time with family and friends at a local diner, the grooming shoppe or through daily phone calls.

Kathleen is survived by her sisters, Dian (Larry) Phillips of Troy and Annette (Domenic) Laurenzi of Cranberry Township; nephew Eric Phillips of Woodleaf, NC; nieces Stephanie (Mike) McGowan of Birdsboro, Diana (Gregory) Phillips-Smith of Troy; great nephew Jason; great nieces Maisie McGowan of Birdsboro; and her beloved canine companion Mia, who was her pride and joy.

Interment will be private with the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kathleen's name may be offered to any animal charity.
