Kathryn F. Werner, 86, of Washington Township, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 in Slate Belt Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Charles A. Werner, who passed away in 2005; together they celebrated 56 years of marriage. Born on November 15, 1928, in Upper Nazareth Township, Kathryn was a daughter of the late Robert G. I Follweiler, Sr. and Dorothy Nagle Follweiler Steiner. Kathryn graduated from Nazareth High School in 1946 and attended Churchman's Business School in Easton. She worked for many years in the office of the former Snyder Feed Mill. She enjoyed gardening and being a loving and devoted grandmother to her granddaughters. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Nazareth. Kathryn is survived by her only child, Curt R. Werner and his wife Kathryn of Saylorsburg; and two granddaughters, Meghan and Sarah Werner. Along with her parents and husband, Charles, she was predeceased by two brothers, Edward W. Follweiler and Robert G. I. Follweiler, Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service which will be held on Tuesday, April 21, at 11:00 am, in Plainfield Cemetery, 1424 Church Road, Pen Argyl, with the Rev. Dr. Dean D. Frey presiding. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C., 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.
