Kenneth R. Lieberman, 93, of Wind Gap, passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2022 in St. Luke's Hospital, Anderson Campus.  He was the loving husband of Marion (Schlener) Lieberman who passed away April 13, 2010; together they shared 60 years of marriage.

Born April 23, 1928 in Upper Nazareth, he was a son of the late John H. Sr. and Grace (Correll) Lieberman.

Kenneth was a hard worker and held various jobs in the agriculture industry throughout his life, retiring as manager of the Northampton County Farm Bureau.

He was a member of Hope United Church of Christ in Wind Gap where he was a member of the Consistory, Parish Board, served as a Deacon and was instrumental in starting the Food Pantry.  He was also very active in the Plainfield Township Lion's Club for over 30 years serving as president for 4 terms, treasure for 2 terms, zone chairman and received the Melvin Jones award.  Kenneth also completed 4 terms as Plainfield Township Auditor.

He was a husband and father who always put his family first.  He loved time spent with his children, grandchildren and great grandson and would look forward to their visits.

Kenneth is survived by 2 sons; Sherwood Lieberman and his wife Rebecca and Keith J. Lieberman all of Wind Gap, 2 granddaughters; Amy Iannacone and her husband Paul and Jodi Lieberman and her husband William Moesser, great grandchildren; Marion, Marissa, Reece, Ayden, Abigail, Hunter and Madeline and his great great grandson; Wyatt.  Kenneth is also survived by his sister Hilda Kocher.

He is predeceased by sisters; Anna Uhler and Mae Trexler and brothers; John Jr., Edward and Ray.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday February 18 from 6-8 pm and Saturday February 19 from 10-11 am in Hope UCC, 701 Cherry Street, Wind Gap where the funeral service will follow at 11 am. Facial coverings will be required in church.  Kenneth will be laid to rest in Wind Gap Cemetery.  Memorials in Kenneth's name may be offered to the Hope UCC Food Pantry.  Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 202 West St., Wind Gap.
