Obituary

Kevin A. Lynn, 60, of Bethlehem, went to be with his Heavenly Father on January 4, 2022 at St. Luke's Sacred Heart on Hospice with his mother and step-father by his side. He was the loving son of Margaret "Peggy" E. (Simons) Pitt of Bethlehem and the late Robert Lynn and step-son of Anthony "Tony" Pitt.

He was born March 25, 1961 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was of the Lutheran faith. He was a graduate of Pen Argyl High School, Class of 1979. Kevin volunteered for NAMI, AFSP and Lehigh Valley Health Walks. He also volunteered for Harvest Full of Hope and Coalition of Transportation. He was a proud board member of Lanta Lehigh Valley and a board member of AFSP. He previously served on EAC Advisory Board at Sacred Heart Hospital in Allentown and EAC Advisory Board at Merakey in Belfast. He was a member of Northampton County Drop-In and on the Resident Advisory Board at Monocacy Towers.

Kevin was a great Star Trek fan and Comic Book enthusiast. He enjoyed going to the movies with his "Trekkie" friends, Musikfest, trips, going out to eat and Sunday rides.

In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by his step-sisters Leslie Pitt (Phil) of Easton and Lori Pinkerton (Doug) of Bethlehem; step-nephew Ricky Nauman of Easton; Uncle Edwin Simons (Sharon) of Nazareth, Uncle Richard Lynn of Arizona, step-Aunt Valerie Barber of Allentown; cousins Dawn Gares (Brian), Chad Gares and Eddie, Robert, Jay and Mike Lynn.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother Ricky Alan Lynn and his grandparents Harold and Arlene (Bartholomew) Simons.

A special thanks to his nurses/hospice caregivers on the 7 th floor and especially to his very devoted Case Manager, Nicole Rasely, for going above and beyond to be there for Kevin and his family.

Services: A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, January 10, 2022 in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 330 Ferry Street, Easton, 18042. A viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Belfast Union Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Schmidt Funeral Home, PC in Nazareth.

Contributions: in lieu of flowers, may be made to NAMI, 802 W. Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018 or to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
