Linda J. Fries, 69, of Upper Nazareth Township, passed away April 5, 2020 at St. Luke's Hospice House. She was the beloved wife of Calvin Fries to whom she had been married for 51 years.

She was a daughter of the late George and Gladys Heckman Hartzell.

Earlier in life Linda worked for Country Miss, but most of her time was spent babysitting and providing a loving home for her family. Linda was a "people person" and always enjoyed lively conversation.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Seemsville.

In addition to her husband Calvin, Linda is survived by son, Stephen Fries; daughter, Tiffany Miller and her husband Tyrone; brother, Rodney Hartzell and his wife Helen; sister, Donna Hildenbrand and her husband Brent; and grandchildren, Zackary Burger, Joseph Burger, Jared Fries, Natalie Fries, Avery Miller and Bryce Miller. She was predeceased by daughter-in-law, Mary Fries.

A celebration of Linda's life will be announced at a later date by the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Linda's name may be offered to the American Cancer Society, Lehigh Valley Unit, 3893 Adler Pl, Ste 170, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
