Linda M. Sandt, 78, of Wind Gap, died Thursday, May 14, 2026, at her home. She was the wife of Dale C. Sandt for almost 60 years. Born July 20, 1947, in Easton, she was the daughter of the late Harry J. and Marion (Anderson) Brown.

Linda worked as a nurse at Easton Hospital before dedicating herself to raising her children. Wanting to always be there for them when they were home, she later worked at a blouse factory. Later, she became a supervisor in the string department at Martin Guitar, where she remained until her retirement.

A faithful member of Benders Mennonite Church, Linda served in the sound booth for many years and, following retirement, lovingly managed the church food bank. She was deeply devoted to prayer, known for her generous hospitality, and lived a life centered on faith, kindness, and service to others.

Linda found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved hummingbirds, roses, and flip-flops, and enjoyed traveling to the shores of Ocean City, Maryland, as well as visiting Hawaii. She even learned to water-ski alongside Dale.

Surviving with her husband are children, Danny Sandt of Wind Gap, Lisa Duvall of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, and Michael (Mary) Sandt of Wind Gap; siblings, Larry (Loralei) Brown, Barbara (Ron) Spaulding, Dottie (Dan) Mathers, Donna (Bruce) Iudicello, Ron Brown, and Tom (Lois) Brown. She was predeceased by a brother, Mark Brown.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10-11am, Friday, May 22, at Benders Mennonite Church, 975 Benders Church Rd, Pen Argyl, PA 18072. Funeral services will begin at 11am in the church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
