Lori J. Buskirk-Snyder, 55, of Stockertown, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice in Allentown. Born on July 22, 1961, in Germantown, PA, she was a daughter of Shirley Laubach Buskirk of Stockertown, and the late Richard Buskirk.

Lori attended Pen Argyl and Nazareth schools, graduating from Nazareth High School in 1979. She was a member and former councilperson of Grace Lutheran Church in Belfast. She was also a member of American Legion Post 9 in Easton. Lori was beloved mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She enjoyed gardening, making crafts, baking and cooking, as well as caring for her animals. Lori was a certified nurse's aide for many years and took pleasure in taking care of the elderly.

In addition to her mother, Lori is survived by her daughter, Gillian Snyder of Coplay. Also surviving is her brother Richard Buskirk of Belfast; sister, Karen (Jim) Knight of Loveland, OH; brother Larry (Alice) Buskirk of Nazareth; and brother Stan (Julie) Buskirk of Belfast, as well as her nieces and nephews, Matt, Jenny, and Carson Knight of Indianapolis, IN; Julie, Brian, Isabella (Fox), and Lucas Madalinski of Bainbridge, OH; Sean, Katie, and Bryson Buskirk of Nazareth; Kelly Buskirk of Fayetteville, WV; Kristen Buskirk of Belfast; Bryan and Christie Buskirk, Chris Buskirk and Shaelyn Laponuke, all of Nazareth. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her brother, Steven Buskirk.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, February 24, at 3:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 5907 Sullivan Trail, Nazareth, PA, 18064 (Belfast). There will be no calling hours.  Burial will follow at Belfast Union Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, Nazareth .

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lori's name may be offered to Grace Lutheran Church at the above address, or to the Center for Animal Health & Welfare, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton, PA, 18042
