Lorraine K. Houck, 88, of Plainfield Township, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2017 in Gracedale.  Born September 12, 1929 in Hellertown, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Gerhab Heygi.  Her husband John A. Houck passed away in 1983.

Lorraine worked as a trimmer for A & H Sportswear in Easton, retiring in 1999.  She was a member of Hope United Church of Christ, in Wind Gap, and a lifetime member of the Plainfield Riding Club.

Lorraine is survived by one son, Wade and his wife Judy of Mohrsville, PA; one daughter, Debra David and her husband John of Plainfield Township with whom she lived; three grandchildren, Shane, John Jr., and James; three great grandchildren, Zachary, Jared, and Katie; and one brother, Gordon Koerner of Jappa, Maryland. Lorraine was predeceased by two brothers, Harold Koerner and Richard Schoenberger.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, November 29, from 10-11 am, at the Schmidt Funeral Home, 202 West St., Wind Gap with funeral services starting at 11 am. Lorraine will be laid to rest in Plainfield Cemetery.
