Louis G. Przywara was called home to be with our Lord, surrounded by his loving family, on April 14, 2014 while at St Luke's Hospice in Bethlehem. He was the devoted husband of Arlene (Rogowski) for 57 wonderful years. Born: January 5, 1934 in Old Forge, PA. He was the son of the late Stanley and Brigette (Koshinski) Przywara. Personal: Lou was raised in Scranton with his 3 brothers and sister. He served in the US Army for 2 years. He married the love of his life Arlene in 1957. Lou worked for Ingersoll-Rand and for Mack Trucks. He was President of the Mack Management Association for several years. An avid golfer, Lou set up many golf tournaments for work and friends. He faithfully tended to his vegetable garden each year and was always fixing or improving things around his house. Lou loved to travel all over the United States and enjoyed the different regional foods. He was a loving father to his 3 children and caring grandfather to his 5 grandchildren. He imparted many lessons that all his kin cherish. Lou had a passion for life, enjoying parties, social events and trips to the casinos. He had the ultimate "good heart"-he would do anything to help anyone, and was the pinnacle of integrity-always doing the right thing. Survivors: His beloved wife Arlene; daughter Debi and her husband Steve Myatt, daughter Sandie and her husband Paul Hartman; son Richard; 5 grandchildren, Kendra and Kristen Myatt, Christopher and Amanda Hartman, and Nicole Przywara; and brother Stanley and wife Joan of Scranton, brother Ted (deceased) and wife Julie of New Jersey, sister Betty Fleckenstein and husband Jack of Connecticut, and brother Joseph and wife Stacey of North Carolina. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 21 at 2:00 pm, in St Bernard's Oratory, 132 S 5th St., Easton. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday from 12:00 to 1:15 pm in the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C., 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.
