Margaret V. Lazaro, 80, of Saylorsburg, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at her residence. BORN: June 1, 1933 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Margaret Heitman. Her husband, Joseph C. Lazaro, died March 27, 2006. PERSONAL: Margaret worked as a material handler for Kraemer Textile in Nazareth before retiring. She was a great cook and a wonderful mom who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. SURVIVORS: Margaret is survived by six sons, Edward Lowry, Howard Lowry, Michael Lazaro, Robert Lazaro, James Lowry, and Joe Lazaro; three daughters, Margaret Kligge, Rosemarie Erdman, and Marie Bruneio; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Harry and Howard; and two sisters, Ginger Leary, and Kathy Brady. She was predeceased by one daughter, Lesly Louise. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, at 11:00 am in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 202 West St., Wind Gap, with the Rev. William Kuntze presiding. Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
