She was the wife of William C. Kupec of Saylorsburg, Pa. and they celebrated 50 years of marriage in November of 2020.
Marguerite held various part-time jobs throughout her life but volunteering and taking care of her family were most important to her. She volunteered many years with the Pen Argyl Green Knight Wrestling Club, helping with both the wrestling and cheerleading programs. She assisted with Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and was in the stands at every sporting event to cheer on her children and their friends. She was very creative, loved crafts and spending time with her friends.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her daughter, Kimberly A. Kupec-Wenger and husband Keith, children Jakob and Makenna of Hillsboro, Ore.; a son, Scott W. Kupec and wife Rachel, children Lillianna and Finn of Nazareth, Pa.; a brother, Robert Klein and wife Lorraine of Pequannock, N.J.; a sister, Jo-Ann Pinheiro and husband Gary of Forked River, N.J.; a brother, John Klein of Wayne, N.J.; a sister-in-law, Linda Klein and partner Ricky Huften of Fair Lawn, N.J.; a sister-in-law, Carol Dvorshock and husband Leonard of Camden, Del.; in addition to 17 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and great nephews and many dear friends.
Along with her parents, Marguerite was predeceased by a brother, Richard Klein, in 2003.
A private viewing will be held with the family, to be followed by interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Saddle Brook, N.J. on Friday, December 4, 2020. Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to SanctionPA, 226 Sandown Court, Souderton, PA 18964. This organization supports the growth of girls wrestling at the high school level in the state of Pennsylvania. Two things close to her heart – the sport of wrestling and empowering young women.
