Marian E. Amoroso, 81, of Easton, passed away on August 31, 2014 at her residence. She was the wife of Joseph A. Amoroso who passed away in 1979. Born June 24, 1933 in Clinton, N J, she was a daughter of the late Austin and Evelyn (Hill) Hall. Marian was a graduate of Clinton High School and Northampton Community College where she received a degree in Library Science. She was employed at Northampton Community College, the Easton Area School District and before retiring, worked as a realtor for Coldwell Banker and Gold Key Lease, both in Easton. In her spare time, she was an avid bowler. Marian is survived by 2 daughters; Carla Froehler and her husband Jim and Gerri Dilts and her husband Bill, 1 son Joseph Amoroso and his wife LaRue; 4 grandchildren, Joseph Amoroso, Christopher DaVanzo, Nicole Nye and Angela Amoroso along with her loving companion Eugene Rooney. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by 2 brothers; A. Myron Hall and Gordon Hall. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday September 3, from 5-7pm in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St Nazareth. A memorial service will follow at 7 pm in the funeral home.
