Marie K. Paff, 47, of Nazareth, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Easton Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Carl Paff, with whom she celebrated thirteen years of marriage on June 29. Born July 23, 1967, in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Robert Stem and Kay (Miller) Stem Slutter. Earlier in life, Marie worked in Easton as a daycare provider and as a crossing guard. In addition to her husband, Carl, Marie is survived by a daughter, Brittany Paff, two step-sons, Mike and Chris Paff, a brother, Robert Stem, and three step-grandchildren. Also surviving is her step-father, Ernest Slutter, her mother-in-law, Violet Altner, and two brother-in-laws, Harold Paff and Keith Paff. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service which will be held on Monday, July 13, at 10:00 am in Greenwood Cemetery, West High Street, Nazareth. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C., 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.
