Marilyn R. Mensch, 83, of Upper Nazareth Township, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 in Easton Hospital. Her husband Clark H. Mensch died August 22, 2010. Born: Born August 11, 1930 in East Bangor, she was a daughter of the late Willard Preston and Olive Buzzard Williams. Personal: She was very active in the USO during her husband Clark's tenure in the service. Together, Marilyn and her husband owned and operated the Wagon Wheel in Five Points, then later owned and operated the Mt. Bethel Inn for several years. She was also a cook at OX Theta Chi fraternity at Lafayette College where she was respected and loved by all. Her interest in knitting annual Christmas stockings was rekindled recently with expectation of the arrival of her great-great grandson. She also enjoyed playing pinochle with family members and going to the casinos. She loved to cook and was a fabulous baker, well known for her sticky buns. Memberships: She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Mt. Bethel. When living in Florida she was a member of the Tuesday Ladies Golf League in New Smyrna Beach. Survivors: Marilyn is survived by one son, C. Scott Mensch and his wife Bonnie; two daughters, Mary Brewster and Diane Welser; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one sister, Janet Eden. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one son, George Welser and one brother, Cary Williams. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, July 30 from 10:00 to 11:00 am in Trinity United Church of Christ, 632 S Delaware Dr., Mt. Bethel. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am Wednesday in the church with the Rev. Rodney W. Wells presiding. Burial will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
