Mark A. Keselica, of Bushkill Township, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away at the age of 61 on Saturday, November 18, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. Born on February 11, 1962, in Oak Park, IL, he was a son of the late Michael N. and Monique L. Loichot Keselica.

Mark was a man of intelligence, humor, and adventure, who lived a life full of love and dedication to his family and country. His academic journey began in Rhode Island, where he graduated from high school and later attended college. However, his talents and achievements reached beyond the confines of formal education. He was a polyglot, speaking several languages, which led him to serve with military intelligence as an interpreter in Korea. His military career began with 4 years reservist duty with the Army National Guard, followed by 8 years active duty served with the US Army.

Mark's career was a testament to his dedication and hard work. After his military service, he served as a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer, for over 30 years, with the Department of Justice, protecting the nation's borders with relentless commitment and unwavering integrity.

His charismatic personality, coupled with his great sense of humor, made it fun to be around him. And although he cherished his alone time, his happiest moments were those spent with his family - they truly were his world. As time moved on, Mark's sense of love and devotion extended to his grandchildren who gave him so much pride and joy. Mark held many interests, hobbies, and passions and he was fortunate to share many activities with those close to him.  He loved to travel, and he loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and target shooting. He aspired to hike the Appalachian Trail in its entirety, a testament to his adventurous spirit.

Mark will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his family; his high school sweetheart and wife of 41 years, Colleen Spencer Keselica; son, Thomas Keselica (Tabitha); daughters, Veronica Furillo (Anthony), Andrea Fisher (Mark), and Taylor Keselica, Esq.; and 6 cherished grandchildren, Nathan Keselica, Alexis Lantz, Rylee Keselica, Alice Fisher, Luke Fisher, and Juliette Furillo; he also leaves behind a brother and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, November 28, from 2-3 pm at the Schmidt Funeral Home, PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth, PA.  A Memorial service, with Military Honors, will follow at 3 pm to celebrate Mark's life and honor his service to his country.
