Mary M. Guido, 74, of Bushkill Twp., passed away at home after a long illness, while surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday, July 27, 2022.  Born in New York City, on March 29, 1948 she was a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret (Ryan) Doocey.  She was the beloved wife of Emilio Guido with whom she celebrated 55 years of marriage.

Mary was a graduate of St. Francis Academy, Bethlehem.  She was employed and help run the family construction business, alongside her husband Emilio, until retirement.  Together, they enjoyed their family, friends, traveling and a life together.  Mary loved flowers and she took pleasure in spending time outdoors.  She was a wonderful homemaker and her proudest accomplishment in life was raising her 4 children with her husband.

She was a devout and faithful member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Nazareth and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society for many years.

She will be lovingly remembered and missed by daughters, Mary Bowman and husband Scott, Cerina Bender and husband Art, and Patricia Tonay and husband Chad; son Joseph Guido and wife Meg; she was also blessed with 4 loving, and wonderful, grandchildren, Emiliana Bowman, Autumn Rose Bender and Jackson and Ryan Guido; 3 sisters Elizabeth Jane Doocey, Joan McCollum and Margaret Posner; she was predeceased by 4 siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to a calling, on Thursday, from 6-8 pm in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.  A Memorial Mass will be held, Friday, at 11 am, in Holy Family Catholic Church, 23 Forest Drive, Nazareth, PA 18064.  Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Nazareth.

Memorial donations, in Mary's name, may be offered to Holy Family Church.
