Mary Ann Kellow, 86, of Saylorsburg, passed peacefully at her residence on Thursday, January 4, 2024. Born November 1, 1937, in Worcester, MA, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Kosik Smodish. She was the beloved wife of Robert A. Kellow who passed away in 2014.

Mary Ann was a graduate and valedictorian of Hellertown High School, class of 1955. Subsequently she graduated from Moravian College, in 1959, with a degree in education. Later she worked as a kindergarten teacher for many years until retirement. She was a quiet woman with a gentle nature. In her pastime she enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, and was an avid reader. Over the years, she held numerous church memberships and always remained active in her church community. Mary Ann was a woman strong in her faith.

She will be missed dearly and lovingly remembered by daughters, Penny Kellow and Colleen Bowens and her husband Cliff all of Saylorsburg; son Christopher Kellow and his wife Ashley of Huntsville. AL; grandsons, with whom she shared very special and loving relationships, Nicolas Bowens and Oliver Kellow; brother, Robert Smodish of Bethlehem, sister Patricia Krycia of Hellertown and a sister in-law, Elaine Smodish. She was predeceased by her brother, Ernest R. Smodish.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 12, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Mount Eaton Church, 7277 Mount Eaton Rd., Saylorsburg. A Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow in Mount Eaton Church Cemetery.
