Mary Regruto, age 97, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Alexandria Manor in Nazareth. BORN: Born February 13, 1915 in Manhattan, she was a daughter of the late Charles U. and Caroline Longo Vacchelli. Her husband Alexander died earlier. PERSONAL: Mary was a homemaker for most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Mary's Nativity in Flushing, NY. SURVIVORS: She is survived by one son, Alex and his wife Elaine; one daughter, Rose Marie Grudzien and her husband Eugene; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her nine siblings. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at a later date in New York. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C., 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.
