Mary Louise Rissmiller, 94, of Zieglersville, died Monday, August 10, 2026, at Frederick Living, Zieglersville. Born on February 3, 1932, in Bangor, PA, Mary Louise was the beloved wife of the late Maynard “Wink” Rissmiller. Together, they built a life centered around family, love, and countless memories.

Mary Louise was a graduate of Bangor High School and St. Luke’s School of Nursing. She devoted more than 30 years to caring for others as an ER and Charge Nurse at Phoenixville Hospital and Manor Care Nursing Home.

Outside of work, Mary Louise enjoyed the simple pleasures of life like shopping, attending gilded craft shows, vacationing at the beach/ Caribbean Islands and traveling with their RV to different destinations along the East Coast.

Mary Louise was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who took great pride in her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Brad (Margaret), Todd (Linda), and Mark (Cynthia); her four grandchildren, Danielle, Stephen, Michael, and Brett; and her six great-grandchildren.

Mary Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Maynard “Wink” Rissmiller; her parents, John and Hilda Werner; and her brother, John.

Though she is no longer with us, her love and the life she shared with her family will continue through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all those whose lives she touched. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy of family, caring, and love—and she will be deeply missed.

Friends and family are invited to call from 10:00-10:30 AM, Friday, August 14th at Schmidt Funeral Home, PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth with funeral services beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown.
