Mike M. Haas, Jr., age 81, of Nazareth, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014, at New Eastwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Wilson Borough. He was the husband of Rachel Johnson Haas with whom he celebrated 62 years of marriage. Born: He was born January 7, 1933 in Moore Township, a son of the late Mike M., Sr. and Anna Haas. Personal: Mike owned and operated Mike's Service on East Lawn Road in Nazareth from the early 1960's until it closed in 1989. He was then self-employed for repairs and towing, working out of Rollin-Johnson Trucking. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Rachel, Mike is survived by his only child, David M. of Nazareth; two brothers, John of CA, and Martin of Forks Township; and nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Anna Lambert. Services: Funeral services will be private with burial in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C., 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.
